I've been trying to find time to introduce myself properly, finding this software a bit different. Nice forum; I look forward to participating.
My name is Marcia Elston and I own/operate Samara Botane http://www.wingedseed.com and host a
group blog at http://www.aromaconnection.org. Our business is located on our property
in the foothills of the Cascade mountains in Washington state, where we are creating demonstration gardens of aromatic and medicinal plants, including
Native species. I was an academic folklorist in a previous professional incarnation with a specialty in Native Tribes in the greater Pacific
Northwest United States. Back then, I was fortunate to work with the Smithsonian Institution to research over 120 tribes and facilitate their
participation in the World's Fair in Spokane, WA in 1974. I am especially appreciative of the Native contributions here, as my experience working
with North American Indians strengthened my interest in the plants of the Earth, eventually manifesting in my current business. In my spare time, I
garden, play music, read books (political/mysteries/botany-anything to do with plants), distill and tincture essences from my garden, create new
products/perfumes and frolic with my grandchildren. We are located on a lovely small pristine lake and it is very peaceful here which is good because
we are a somewhat chaotic family with lots of energy. My husband Rob recently retired from Boeing as an engineer and now works full time in our
business where his technical expertise has served us very well in database design and systems/procedures. Glad to be here.

I'm vouching for the quality of your oils and other stuff here.
And you all about native tribes, ah ha another one of those synchronicity things again. I can tell you all about the Irish travellers, I have many
stories to tell, none quite as beautiful as the Shawnee stories told by Grandmajo.
Great to have you here and if you think we need something different or something could work better let us know.
